Shop drawings & process
From the structural set to a standing frame.
We do not post prices or budget ranges because every steel package is different. Every job starts with the drawings and a site visit and ends with a frame that fits.
Plan review and site walk
We go through the structural and architectural set, walk the site, and note slab elevations, access and anything the drawings leave open.
Written, itemized bid
Members, connections, finish, delivery, equipment and erection are listed with one lump-sum total. Options and RFIs are called out separately.
Shop drawings and approval
We detail every piece and send the shops to your engineer and architect. Nothing is cut until they are approved and field dimensions are verified.
Fabricate, deliver, erect
Steel is fabricated, finished, delivered and set by our crew, then plumbed, connected and touched up for inspection.

Approval-only shop drawings
Questions answered before steel is ordered.
Our shop drawing sets include a general sheet with every RFI and a response box for the design team, so answers come back in one place. Anything still open is clouded and marked as a fabrication hold. We ask for forwarding to the engineer and architect and a response date that keeps the job on schedule.
- Piece-by-piece details with cut lengths and welds
- Numbered RFIs with proposed options
- Clouded holds for open items
- Fabrication released only after written approval
