Stairs
Steel stairs are fabricated to field-measured rise and run, with plate or tube stringers and pans or carriers for wood, concrete or steel treads. Guards and handrails are built to the height, opening and load requirements in the building code.
Railings and guards
Horizontal bar, vertical picket, cable and panel infill railings for stairs, balconies and decks, fabricated in steel and finished with primer and paint or galvanizing.
Lintels, embeds and angles
Steel lintels over brick and stone openings, embed plates cast into foundations and walls, ledger and shelf angles, and post bases. These are small pieces, but they set the location of everything that connects to them, so they are laid out from the drawings and checked before the pour.
Bollards and site steel
Pipe bollards, guard posts and other site steel for parking areas, loading docks and equipment protection.

Questions about stairs, railings & misc. metals
Can you supply embeds before our foundation pour?
Yes, and that is the right time. Embeds missed at the pour are expensive to retrofit, so we prioritize them in the shop drawing and fabrication schedule.
Do you install wood or glass treads and infill?
Steel is our scope. Wood treads, glass and finishes can be coordinated with other trades or through Stealth General Contracting.
