Exposed steel done cleanly
Canopies and trellises are seen up close, so connections, welds and finish matter. We detail hidden or clean bolted connections, grind welds where they show, and coordinate galvanizing, primer and paint so the finish holds up in Texas sun and storms.
Supports for signs and awnings
Sign backers, strut frames and awning supports have to tie into the building's structure, not just the facade. We work from the engineer's connection design and verify backing in the field before fabrication.
Trellises and shade structures
Steel tube trellises and shade frames between buildings need layout, spacing and attachment details that are often only shown architecturally. We price them clearly and submit RFIs for member sizes and engineering when the structural set does not cover them.

Questions about steel canopies & frames
Do canopies need a permit?
Most structural canopies and patio covers do. Requirements vary by city, HOA and commercial property, and setbacks or wind design may apply. We confirm requirements during the bid.
Can you match an architectural rendering?
Yes, as long as the structure is engineered. We turn the design into shop drawings, flag anything that needs engineering input, and get approval before fabrication.
